Fr. Christopher Piestraszko
Associate Pastor
Fr. Chris' Bio Fr. Christopher M. Pietraszko was born and raised in London Ontario, and was ordained a priest in 2012 for the Diocese of London. He has a special devotion and love for the Philosopher and Theologian St. Thomas Aquinas. Teaching, camping, studying, competitive games and fishing are a few of His personal interests. With the help of God, Fr. Christopher hopes to lead others to a deeper relationship with Christ, in order to build His Kingdom.

Cathryn Hall
Pastoral Minister
Cathryn's Bio Cathryn Hall was raised in Port Perry, Ontario, and came to London for university and never left! Having been in parish ministry for 20 years, 14 years which has been in ministry at St. Peter's Cathedral, Cathryn's areas of responsibility has been concentrated in liturgy, sacraments, and working with volunteers. Firmly rooted in her call to service she looks forward to walking with individuals and families as they realize their own baptismal call and assisting them in discovering their gifts and talents to offer in humble service to the community. Outside of her ministry work, Cathryn enjoys her participation in a local community choir and spending time with family.

Deacon Gaston Mabaya
Permanent Deacon
Dcn Gaston's Bio Deacon Gaston was ordained Permanent Deacon on November 5, 2011, by Bishop Ronald P. Fabbro in London Ontario. The same year, he was assigned at St Michael’s Parish and St Josephine Bakhita African & Caribbean Catholic Community. From 2014 to 2017, he was assigned Administrator at St Marguerite d’Youville in London before returning to St Michael’s Parish. Deacon Gaston is a Knight of Columbus and a member of Social Justice Committee. He is also involved in Bible Study sessions. He is a father of eight children, an electrical engineer, specialized in Fiber Optics and university professor and a writer.

Deacon Rudy Pflanzner
Permanent Deacon
Dcn Rudy's Bio Deacon Rudy Pflanzner was born and raised in Toronto and attended London’s Western University. He married Donna at St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica in December 1982 and is a proud dad and grandfather. In 2001 Rudy entered the permanent diaconate program which was new to the diocese. He was ordained in 2005 and ministered at the Cathedral for two years. Then, following a seven year assignment at St. Justin’s parish, he returned to the Cathedral. For the last fifteen years, Rudy has ministered as part of the formation team for men studying and discerning their call to become permanent deacons.
