Catholic Women's League
The Catholic Women’s League is a lay association of Catholic women recognized by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB). Rooted in gospel values, calling its members to grow in faith, and to witness the love of God through ministry and service to all God’s people.

The council engages in fundraising activities and events to support charitable initiatives.  Meetings are focused on business, spiritual development, social activities, and Diocesan initiatives. Social events are held throughout the year to enjoy each other's company.

If you want to make a difference in the world, enrich your faith, and uphold family life, consider joining the CWL.  All Catholic women aged 16 and older are welcome to join. Through your membership, you can support charitable outreach projects.
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is an advisory committee to the pastor that provides oversight to ensure the financial viability required to sustain the needs and requirements of the parishes. The committee members are appointed by the Pastor.

The committee is accountable for strategic planning that includes developing long-term capital plans and assisting in developing plans to generate and maintain revenue to attain the goals of the parishes and the Diocese.

The committee reviews financial statements, including annual reports to ensure the Diocesan policies for fiscal and accounting procedures are followed; and assists in preparing, presenting and communicating the annual financial reports to all parishioners.
Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternity centered on Catholic teachings, and founding principles of charity, unity, fraternity & patriotism. With approximately 15,000 councils around the world, the order has become a visible symbol of the response of Catholic men to the call to humble service of those most in need.
The parish knight’s supports local programs centered on faith, community, family, life and youth.  Becoming a Knight of Columbus is an opportunity to support your parish, give back to your community, and grow in your faith.
Parish Pastoral Council
The Parish Pastoral Council is a consultative body to the pastor formed to ensure the mission of parishes and the mission of the pastoral plan of the Diocese are addressed. The council members are appointed by the Pastor.

The pastor presides over the Parish Pastoral Council and is responsible for the final approval of council recommendations concerning pastoral planning, programs, and services for the parishes, as well as for their implementation.

Pastoral planning involves:

Developing a working vision for the parishes for the following 3 to 5 years;

Discerning the will of God for the parish community by identifying, assessing and prioritizing pastoral needs;

Setting goals and developing objectives to meet those needs; and, recommending courses of action to the pastor or pastoral team members;

Council members may also be asked to evaluate ministry and programming in the parish.
Property & Maintenance Committee
The Property and Maintenance Committee is an advisory committee, appointed by the Pastor, that provides input and recommendations for operating, maintenance and capital work for the parish buildings. The committee’s input includes strategic planning, repairs, replacements, or programs. The committee ensures an effective and efficient use of the parish facilities are carried out in a timely manner by completing bi-annual property reviews.
Refugee Committee
The Refugee Committee of our family of parishes focuses on supporting a sponsored refugee family. Our committee works to help with resettlement by providing financial and logistical support. The committee offers practical help with housing, accessing government and city services, and enrolling in language and academic classes. Our committee strives to integrate the sponsored family into the local community by fostering a welcoming environment that helps build social connections.
Social Committee
The Social Committee plans and organizes social events for the parishes. Whether it is organizing a coffee Sunday, welcoming a new pastor or celebrating a seasonal gathering, the efforts of the social committee help parishioners to feel a part of the parish community. The committee provides opportunities for individuals to get to know one another and enjoy being together.
