Prayer Shawl
The enjoyment of knitting and/or crocheting and a spirit of compassion are all that is required to join our ministry. Novice and experienced knitters and crocheters are always welcome in our circle of contemplative prayer in the crafting of prayer shawls each month.
Shawls are created in combination with prayers and blessings and distributed to parishioners and those in the community who are celebrating a joyous occasion or who may be experiencing loss or sorrow.  Each Lenten season our ministry takes on a “Project of Love” and donates prayer shawls to groups.
Rosary Guild
The Rosary Guild is dedicated to spreading devotion by making rosaries.  Both beginner and experienced parishioners are welcome to join in this meaningful ministry of prayer, craft, and service. Members prayerfully create rosaries that are gifted to anyone in need of comfort and prayer.  There are also rosaries available for sale for sacraments and other special occasions.
Secular Franciscans
The foundations of the Secular Franciscans come from the desire of ordinary people living in the times of St. Francis who desired to join his new order.  St. Francis counseled them not to leave their families or abandon their work in the world but to embrace the Gospel in the ordinary circumstances of their lives.
If you would like to give more time to God but wonder how to do that when your life is so busy, or if you long for holiness and feel a need for support in growing spiritually, Christ may be calling you to explore the Secular Franciscan life.
Seniors on the Move
Seniors on the Move is an exercise class led by certified CPR-trained fitness instructors. Participants gather in the parish hall for an hour of low-impact and strengthening exercise followed by social time. Classes provide a fun way to exercise both the body and mind and allow participants with the option to exercise at their own pace while enjoying the fellowship of others.
Yarning with Love
The Yarning with Love knitting group knits prayer shawls and warm accessories for those in need. The group provides knitters and knitting wannabes with an opportunity to socialize, knit, and share skills. The atmosphere is casual and informal and provides a great way to get to know others in our parish community. Yarn, supplies and lessons for new knitters are all supplied. Once each item is complete a tag is applied “Made with love and prayers for your warmth, comfort, hope and healing”.
You Are Not Alone (Y.A.N.A.)
Y.A.N.A. is a support group for individuals living and caring for someone with mental health issues. The group focuses on providing emotional peer support through conversation at monthly meetings. Participants share their personal experiences, gain insights, and receive emotional support from others facing similar challenges.
Young at Heart Cards
Young at Heart card players have been playing bridge at the parish for over a decade. Four or more bridge tables are set up on Thursday afternoons each week for a fun and engaging time. Coffee, tea and goodies compliment the afternoon. Both new and visiting players are always welcomed into this friendly group of seniors.
